Beta Participation Agreement
Additional terms for private-preview and beta access.
1. Beta status
The product is unfinished and is provided for evaluation. Features, formats, limits, findings, compatibility, availability, and retention may change. Participation does not promise continued access, a launch date, a paid offering, or any particular feature.
2. Testing responsibilities
You will use owner-controlled or expressly authorized targets, maintain appropriate backups, watch for unexpected impact, stop when needed, and provide truthful context about scope and outcomes. High and critical findings may be manually reviewed during the private pilot.
3. Feedback
You may provide feedback voluntarily. You grant [LEGAL_OPERATOR_NAME] a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and incorporate feedback without identifying you publicly. Do not include third-party confidential information or secrets in feedback.
4. Confidentiality
Until public launch, non-public product behavior, interfaces, documentation, reports, security controls, and release information disclosed through the preview are confidential unless [LEGAL_OPERATOR_NAME] says otherwise in writing. This does not cover information already public through no breach, independently developed, or lawfully received without restriction.
5. Operational communications
We may contact participants about access, safety, findings, incidents, required upgrades, feedback, or material changes. Marketing communication requires any consent separately required by law.
6. No production reliance
You are responsible for deciding whether a target is appropriate for beta testing and for independently reviewing findings and fixes. Do not rely on the beta as the only security control, as certification, or as a substitute for professional testing where risk warrants it.
7. End of participation
Either party may end participation at any time. On termination you must stop using preview-only access and protect or delete confidential materials as requested, except records you must retain by law. The Terms of Service continue to govern prior use.
